I love chocolate covered strawberries! However, I don’t own a double boiler and I don’t use a microwave. It’s not a problem. I place a pie plate on top of a pan of hot water and get the same result.
Strawberries must be dry so the chocolate sticks to them. Poke a small pickle fork in the top by the stem and roll them through the chocolate. Place on freezer paper (shiny side up) to dry. Refrigerate so the chocolate hardens. if you don’t eat them first!
