Simple to Make Chicken Puffs

I got this recipe from my good friend Melody.  I don’t know what they are called, but we call them Chicken Puffs. It’s easy to make and yummy.  The crescent rolls aren’t healthy, but they do make it taste great!

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

I mix it with a mixer which shreds up the chicken even more.

Open one can of crescent rolls and unroll them.  Lay out 2 triangles that are hooked together and slice in the middle so you have 2 squares.  Press the perforated parts together so they don’t split.

Add a dollop of mixture, fold the top over and crimp the edges to seal.  You can add onions, cheese or anything else that sounds good.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.

  1. I have another slighty different version: 2 chicken breasts, cooked and chopped, 2-3 green onions chopped, 8 oz cream cheese softened, 1/4 cup milk, salt and pepper to taste, garlic powder to taste and a handful of Parmesan cheese. Mix together and put in your crescent rolls as you do. They are super delish!
